Healthcare Sector in India

There is a huge difference in healthcare standards between rural and urban India. A decade ago, Indian healthcare industry was not upto the world standards, but there has been immense growth and development in this sector in the past few years.

A major reason for this has been the rise of income levels for a vast number of Indian people. The middle-class sector has become very big in size, and thus rose the demand for providing better medical care. However, the sad part of this whole story, is that all this development has been focused mainly on urban India.

Even in urban India, the metro cities have benefited the most. The smaller cities and rural areas have remain unchanged. Most of the Indian population lives in rural India, so the majority of the population still cannot receive proper medical care.

The health care facilities of urban India can compare and compete with those of developed nations. However the facilities of rural India are very much similar to those of sub-Saharan Africa. This marked difference in the levels of health facilities should be enough to make us sit up and take serious notice. Not only that, we should take quick action to spread better health and medical care to larger part of India.

For doing so, both public and private sector have to co-operate with each other. Even though, the goal seems impossible at the moment, but we have to make a beginning somewhere. We cannot just sit quietly and watch because we think that an impossible task lies before us. We have to take initiative and take it fast!

Obesity remains the number one health issues that have bothered most of the developed world especially North America. Eating unhealthy food or rather fast food, lack of exercise and lastly excess stress which leads to stressful eating remains some of the major causes of Obesity here.

To tackle these issues although many diets and weight loss centres are in the market, cost factor remains sometimes very inconvenient. Thus the needs of some easy food groups that can actually help a person lose weight.

Here are some regular food groups that can actually help a person lose weight:
1] Millet: According to the ancient system of medicine namely called as Ayurveda, one of the chief foods to be included in a person's diet to lose weight would be Millet.

Millet is a known crop of India and several other countries; basically they are small seeds of a cereal crop. In today scientific world this crop is known as an alternative to wheat for those who cannot eat gluten.

Millet contains no gluten in them, but do have 10 % protein and high amount of fiber and B- complex vitamins. It is also know for all this same reasons to digest easily. The high fibrous diet but with no gluten is what is admired in this cereal for weight loss.

Small tips to increase stamina

I was always interested in finding ways to increase my stamina so that I can do more physical feats and work harder without getting tired. In my quest, I have found a few exercises which can be really very helpful in this regard to build and improve stamina.

1. Skipping: Start small. Skip for some time daily - as long as you feel comfortable. Each week try to increase the duration a little. This can have a good effect on increasing your stamina.

2. Running on the Spot: Run on the spot for a set period of time, like 2 minutes to start with. Later as days pass by you can increase it to maybe 5 minutes etc.

Also check out my sites: Polar heart rate monitor watches and Polar s625x heart rate monitor

The above sites are about heart rate monitors. These are heart rate monitoring devices used while exercising, so that you can exercise at right frequency. When you do so, you can gain maximum benefit from each exercising session.

Note - when you increase your stamina - you will do more exercising which can help in burning more fat. At the same time, you will also become active. Being active is good for weight loss.
